Marauders Roar at Colony Cougar Classic

Dateline September 27, 2014, The Colony, Texas: At The Colony Cougar Classic Invitational held on the Far Eastern Shores of Lake Lewisville, the weather was humid but rather hospitable for the early morning races, under cloud cover and temps in the lower to The Colony 2014 (186) (1)mid-70s, with the day’s heat not picking up until the JV races, with temps reaching the lower 80s.

And thanks to the Cougar Classic, the Marauders enjoyed a roaring good time, with more than a few Marauders enjoying roaring good times.

The Boys’ Varsity, running in the Elite race, won a two point squeaker, 40 to 42 over Frisco Wakeland.

The Boys’ JV dominated the top ten race finishers, with the team taking first and coming in with a very low score.

The Varsity girls’ team got the day off, and MXC ran a girls’ five-some in the Girls’ Elite The Colony 2014 (81)race, taking a respectable 6th.

And this blogger has yet to locate official results for the Girls’ JV race to know where the Lady Marauders’ placed.
